long time, no blog

brace yourselves, this update will most likely be a long one considering i need to fill you all in about the amazing spring break that just occurred.
it's start with a week from today, last saturday.
4/04/09: i woke up at the crack of dawn and hurried to get ready so that i could meet up with hayley at nine. after an hour and a half drive, we reached the destination. i was beyond excited to see hayley, because it's been nine months! hayley jumped out of her dad's truck and we just screamed and hugged. we got into my car and departed to the wonderful land of holly springs. once we got back to my house, we all met up with marissa at homegrown because i wanted hayley to meet majority of my friends from school. granted, the trip was quite awkward because i didn't really know what to say to either of them. after that, me and hayley ventured off to walmart with my mom and aunt so we could pick up a few things for dinner. when we got back to my house, megan was there. she only stayed for about five minutes but at least she got to say "hey" and "bye" to hayley. the night went on filled with closet wreckings and phonecalls.
4/05/09: this is the day when it all started. we all woke up, packed up the car, and headed off to hilton head island. the ride was actually really fun, hayley is the only person that i actual enjoy going on road trips with. the best part of the ride was our stop at the famous "el drug store". hayley and i find el drug store to be fantastic. this is were hayley discovered the ever so great 'ethnic bag'. we continued to drive with a few stops along to way but in the end we finally reached the disney hilton head island resort. i was really excited to show hayley to resort because it's basically my home away from home. we settled in, rented our bikes, and then went for a little night adventure. while on this night adventure, hayley and i decided to stop and play a short game of shuffle ball, which was suddenly interrupted. the interruption had a name, and his name is "doug". doug started up random conversation with us which included questions such as "what's the worst thing you've ever done?", "have you ever...well...done it?" and "what sort of grades do yall get?". let's just say these awkward questions started a revolution. doug became the center of focus of our vacation.
4/06/09: me and hayley woke up quite early because of loud obnoxious noises coming from our fellow roommates, shane and cole. we got dressed and then proceeded to walk down to the mercantile area. we were trying to avoid doug because we were actually quite concerned that he'd creep us, but litte did we know, we're the creepers. it started to rain so we ran back to the villa to enjoy chips & salsa and some E! television. at 11:00, we made disney character mugs. i made a mike from monsters inc mug and hayley made a stitch mug, and both of the mugs actually turned out quite well. shortly after the mug making, we made not-so mickey tye dye. i know have a growing obssession with tye dye because mine and hayley's turned out really well. we used about the same colors which was green, blue, and yellow. for dinner, our families all went san miguels for dinner, which is a delicious mexican resturant that is within walking distance of the resort, so we rode our bikes to the resturant and back. after our ride, we decided that a dip in the hot tub would be nice. luckily, doug was in the hot tub. erica and emily ran up to us as we entered the pool area warning us of the fact. we jumped into the bubbling pool anyways. after a while of dicussing, we all dared hayley to go talk to doug from money. it was very hilarious, she even told doug that she was being paid to do so. he left soon after.
4/07/09: tuesday was the most boring/ less productive day of the trip. we woke up early again and got dressed, we sat around for a while thinking of things that we wanted to do for the day. we decided on a trip with the schuens to target. at target, we bought the two new flavors of vitamin water, which are delicious by the way, and crap loads of easter candy. we came back from target, ate the candy, and washed our newly tye dyed tee shirts. while trying on our shirts, we made barbasol beards featuring the soul patch and hilter stachue. we took pictures with cole hovey too. for the rest of the day, we went over to the schuens villa and played scattergories, which was quite amusing actually.
4/08/09: the day of wednes. this was such a fun day. first part of the day, we went down to the pool and got food at 'tide me over'. after eating, we just put our feet into the pool and talked, it was a beautiful day outside. emily came around and told us that an activity called pirates of the calibouge was about to start. me and hayley decided to participate. b'lou crabbe was the leader of the activity and we soon annoyed him, which was great. our team was TEAM DOUG, of course. we made up creative chants such as "D-O-U-G DOUG!", "who's team is it?! DOUGS TEAM!", and "when i say team, you say doug. team DOUG team DOUG." the entire island heard our shouts including three little hoe girls who associate with doug. we went into the pool after our success with the activity, because yes, we did win. hayley met this adorable little girl named cara. we all played a game of keep away: girls vs boys. we went back to the villa and got dressed because we planned on going out to eat and then returning to go to the campfire. we ate at panera, which is becoming a tradition for me and hayley. we ate our food fast so that we could make it back in time for campfire. we got to the campfire and of course, we started obnoxiously singing songs about our beloved doug. the man sitting next to erica quickely got P.O ed and told us to stop, so we got up and left. while all of this was going on, the hilton head hoe or HHH for short, was texting my cousin, alex. she wanted alex to meet her at the playground, we all got together and traveled to the playground. this hoe tried to make a move on alex so hayley told her off. then we found the man, himself, sititng in the hot tub. it was doug. we were already all hyped up because of the HHH, so we decided to hardcore harass doug, but before we could do so the three little hoe girls (as mentioned above) informed doug about our doug chants and our team name. he was severely creeped out. we decided to creep him out more. hayley grabbed her camera and started to take pictures of doug while shouting "the camera loves you doug", "work it!", and "smile of the camera doug!". we turned around and started to ignore us on purpose. we ran away completely satisfied with our harassment. we sat in luggage carts for the rest of the night and just talked.
4/09/09: our beachy day! emily, alex, and erica went to 'teen kayaking' at 11:00 and me and hayley went to 'the mental world of b'lou'. it was so crazy. b'lou read both me and hayley's mind. he handed me a pile white cards with movie titles on the back. i picked a movie, and held it close to me so that he wouldn't see. surprisingly, he guessed my movie correctly which was 'mulan' of course! after that adventure, my mom drove us to the beach. first thing we did was go on to the beach and feel the water. the water was freezing cold but it was so beautiful. hayley found four sand dollars, but she threw them away because they reaked! we went back up to the pool area, ate lunch, and then went swimming in the pool. hayley's little friend, cara was there so we played around with her for a bit. for the rest of the time at the beach, i laid out, played scrabble, and walked on the beach one more time. we took the shuttle back to the resort where we walked in our pool side karaoke. we though knowing of it until my mom came into our villa and said "guess who's first at the mic? DOUGIE FRESH". me and hayley screamed and then sprinted to the pool. doug sang "respect" which we are convinced was meant for us. let's just say, doug is a great singer, except not really. after doug, hayley, emily, and erica grabbed the mic. they sang "umbrella", i recorded a video and i also got some pretty amazing pictures of doug. i went back to the villa to change my clothes, when hayley busted in and informed me that she had just gotten a picture with doug. i screamed and forced her to help me find him so that i could get a picture with him as well. the picture was very forced but it was amazing. trust me. that night we went back san miguels and ate our dinner.
4/10/09: the last day. we woke up early, packed up the car, said our final goodbyes to doug along with my cousins, and set off to holly springs. the ride home was very, very long but it included another stop at el drug store. once we got home made videos, GOT ATTICS TO EDEN VIA LEAK, and spent our last night together.
today: today was very, very, very sad xinfinity. i miss hayley so much already. she left at about two today but on the brightside, i met andrew today. although, me being the huge awkward turtle that i am, i didn't say anything besides "hey" and "bye". regardless, it was interesting! oh god, i'm so upset that this week is over. it was such an amazing vacation, and i love hayley. and hayley, i'm not sick of you, i can never get sick of you, you're my best friend and i love you so much. let's pray for may 15th and if not, summer :)
