the cold, hard truth

marissa told me something today that really made me think.
and after pondering the thought, she's so very true.
now that i realize this, i'm back to where i was last year.
i don't have the close friends that i used to have and
i don't have the feelings of trust that i used to have.
where did it all go? who knows.
it just went, and it's been gone for a while now.
it'd be stupid to say i miss it, because it won't change anything.
