does your husband know the way that the sunshine gleams from your wedding band

things have been great lately, yet not much as happened except the unfortunate event of yesterday afternoon. as i mentioned before, my wallet has been stolen meaning i've lost my permit. yesterday, i had the sudden urge to start driving again because i would like to receive my license before this upcoming summer. while on the way to the DMV, the car starts to jump around as if the we were driving over a bed of nails. we pulled over to discover a flat tire. the only place we could pull over was by a guardrail on the side of highway 55, not very safe at all. we called my dad to come rescue us from the side of the road. he came changed the tire and then finally we got to go home. after all the controversy, i never even arrived at the DMV meaning no permit for me. not to mention that i spent an hour getting my hair looking decent for the picture. it's alright though, i probably would have been a pusillanimous baby and not drive home from the DMV anyways.
today, on the other hand, involved no motor vehicle trouble! i got out of taking my math test due to an absence on friday which meant i missed our lesson on the quadratic formula. i have to go make up the test during HOT lunch on thursday, two more days to study :) although, i did take my english vocabulary test and i know that i did extraordinary. as soon as i finished my test, the fire alarm went off so we had to evacuate into the parking lot as usual. i walked down with megan and talked to her during the drill. she reminded me that we are having a taco/bracelet making party at her house on friday. color me excited, it's been torture not being able to make bracelets all week. beads in my household are very scarce so i need to save them from our party. even though, i am going to walmart to buy more beads and stretchy string to make the bracelets with. while i am at megan's house, emily will be enjoying high school musical 3. i was invited to join her but me and HSM don't really mix, kind of like oil and water actually. oh, and another fun fact for the day, i think i will actually go to the YMCA and work out tonight. i should really start going again because i really need the exercise and i have more free time on my hands lately. i am off to prepare for the gym :)
