thanksgiving break has come and gone. wednesday was lauren's birthday party and the folie a deux listening party. thursday was cooking and eating. friday was family gatherings and religious confrontations. saturday was shopping and sleeping. and finally, today is reading and relaxing. although, i'm a few days late with the list of things i'm thankful for...i'm going to give it a shot.
i'm thankful for the following people: hayley todd, taryn rothstein, samantha dinkel, lauren richter, megan gillespie, marissa barbalato, alyssa avina, lacy burke, alyssa deseta, brittany simmons, emily senter, brad senter, and kayce wilson.
i'm thankful for the following bands: fall out boy and madina lake.
i'm thankful that i have food, water, and a place to live when millions of people worldwide do not.
i'm thankful that barack obama was elected president so that he can change america and fix the problems that bush has put us in.
i'm thankful for my parents for all that they do for me. they work day in and day out to make sure that we have a good life, and they succeed.
i'm thankful for my cat, gracie. as cliche as this sounds, she's the only person (yes, i said person) that will listen and i feel as if she understands me. i love her to death.

as much as i say otherwise, i have a great life because of the things listed above. although, things aren't going in the right direction right now, doesn't mean they won't in the future. i will be hopeful that my life will make a u-turn soon and things will start to be the way they used to be. "there is always a light at the end of the tunnel".

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LAUREN RICHTER!



yesterday was one adventure after another. gillz and rizz came over, like any usual weekend(even though it was tuesday :D). they came over and we ordered pizza online so we could use the whole pizza tracker application. megan went through and clicked all these random toppings including BBQ Sauce, while doing this she unclicked the cheese button. we saw that our delivery man's name was jahron or as we called him j nasty. me and megan were waiting in the windows for twenty minutes eagerly awaiting the arrival of our pizza and our man, jahron. jahron finally arrived with our pizza and when we opened up the box, to our surprise, the pizza had no freaking cheese on it. megan accidently unclicked the cheese pizza. all the pizza was, was sauce with black olives and mushrooms. so megan, filled out the comments and ratings on the pizza tracker. she gave everyone and everything a horrible score which lead to jahron calling my house and tellilng me that "he loves his job". JEEZ JAHRON! we ate our cheeseless pizza and then made peanut butter cookies, which we successfully devoured. i got yelled at by my mom for making a mess and then we all went and looked at 8th, 9th, and 10th grade yearbook. bahahaha, poor megan has a pretty pathetic picture every year. this is when marissa had to leave D:! megan and i went and played mario kart and then air karaoke! oh baby. we sang "bye bye bye", "toxic", and "felix navidad". it was great. after that we watched jessica lawerence's wife swap until she had to go home.

although, i skipped school today for no apparent reason, i got a lot done today.
1) did three loads of laundry
2) caught up with my reading in "into the wild"
3) made my official christmas wishlist
4) read to page 250 in h piddy and the half-blood prince
5) made flashcards for english class
6) re-did my myspace profile (oh so important!)
7) successfully slept until ten
8) studied for my math test

see! see! i made a whole list out of things i did today. i'm proud :)
wednesday: words cannot describe how extremely excited i am. at hot topic, they are having a "Folie A Deux" listening party. eeeep! now i just have to find someone to come with me. any volunteers? also on wednesday, it's lauren's fifteenth birthday. she's having us meet up at Java Divine for coffee, paninis, and gelato. oh and brad and kayce are coming home sometime on wednesday also.
it's safe to say, i'm excited.

this weekend has been quite eventful.

1) saw twilight on friday.

today was the release of "twilight" the movie. the thing is, i absolutely hated it but i want to go see it over and over and over again. i haven't laughed that hard at a movie in a long time. the thing is, i found myself laughing at EVERYTHING even if it wasn't meant to be funny. me and megan were cracking up the entire movie. i could tell that marissa was getting angry. she "shh-ed" me on multiple occasions. the best part was bella's first day in biology class. when edward saw her, HIS FACE! he looked SO constipated, like the had to take a massive crap. robert pattinson and his faces are priceless. the main reason i want to see the movie again is JUSTIN CHON. he is this amazing asian that played eric yorkie in the movie. megan and i were gasped and reaching towards the screen everytime we saw him. he is so beautiful. all in all, someone should invite me to go see twilight with them....again :)

today was great, like usual. i paid attention in math, which is earth shattering, and i know what we are doing in there! french was french meaning i'm alone in the back of the classroom sneaking food for my purse, nothing to special there. then comes lunch, lunch always seems to be the high point of my day just because it's so crazy. megan did more of her motherland hair braiding quality work today, but this time she included professor snape and hedwig's collar-ish thing. it was GHETTOLICIOUS, except not really because it didn't stay in my hair. marissa and i needed to go get pictures and interview kids so we walked around with our harry potter memorabilia in hand. after lunch comes yearbook, today we had a sub! oh yes! it was wonderful! i finished my spread, thankfully, although it is two days late. we also got our new assignments, i have winter trends which should actually be quite entertaining so i'm glad. english was horrible, but i managed to get a lot of work done. me and emily rushed home to go watch the clique movie, haha...it's okay, you can laugh at us. to put it plainly, it sucked a lot. yeah, i did read the books but the movie was hilarious because it was so horrible. oh man, during the movie, i was interrupted by a call from megan. seems to me that creeper #2 does not only has his eyes on me, he has his eyes on megan too.

3) got a HAT hairdo during lunch, compliments of gill.
4) successfully got angry in english because of inconsiderate idiots.
5) went on a mission to find marissa's lost phone, but failed.
6) read harry potter which put me in a great mood.
7) crushed a cracker into the carpet at school because megan is crazy.
8) sneezed more than twenty times.
9) got a d for the first time in algebra two.
10) got 16 points taken off my yearbook spread for something that is out of my control.

somewhere over the rainbow

i just posted this picture to show my amazing new pants, i love them a lot. this weekend was kind of, sort of craziness. on friday, i went over to megan's to play wiifit and then we all came back and slept over at my house. it was a ridiculously fun time, as always. also on friday, hayley called, and i feel i should mention how extremely happy i am for her, it makes me smile. anyways, on saturday, me and my mom went to crabtree mall in search on many, many thing. i needed pants and to get a gift for hayley's birthday. my mom needed christmas presents, which is pretty difficult to get when her two children are right next to her the whole time. i failed at my mission of getting hayley a birthday present, round two will be today but i did get some pretty amazing skinny pants(as shown in picture). i came home and chilled for a little bit and then went to the twilight pre-movie party at borders. i mean, i mostly went just to have something to do....i don't fit the whole crazed twilight fan category. although, i do really like twilight. the party was pretty lame and the live performer was very horrible. mom and dad picked us up, got us chik-fil-a, and went home. i've been running around all weekend, but i woke up this morning and today just feels like it will be a really, really great day. i can actually breathe through my nose again, for some reason i'm all stuffed up but i'm not exactly sick. oh! and let's see if i have any persuasion skills later ;)

p.s- yesterday, i saw the most beautiful rainbow in the sky. it put a huge smile on my face.

if the world is ending, i'm throwing the party

today started off really, really badly. the following reasons will tell of the disastrous start to my thursday.
1) as i was getting out of the car, my bracelet snapped! mind you, it was one of the bracelets i NEVER take off. the beads fell in the hard cement ground. i took what was left of my fallen bracelet and carried it with me until i reached my destination, mrs. apicella's room. taryn said it looked like i was going to cry, sorry, i get emotionally about my bracelets.
2) my algebra two math test was horrible. i wasn't even going to go to school due to me being sick but i went because of this hellish test. so on top of me feeling terrible, i had to take this test. the test consisted of only seven multiple choice questions and the rest where short answer, meaning i failed. i totally blanked on that test, i won't be surprised if i get a 40 or lower on it. during the test, i got a case of the sniffles and my throat was on fire. i texted my mom after the test and asked if she would pick me up. she said she'd come at noon but then i realized i had a test in fourth block! i didn't get to go home.
3) this event is actually out of chronological order just because it is a little detail, but anyways, while in mrs. apicella's room before class, i asked if there had been any pictures added to image share. lucky me, of course they weren't. meaning, i need to have all my picture for yearbook by tomorrow because it's final deadline day.
but as the day progressed, my mood got better and better. reasons are as follows.
1) lunch! marissa and i made cookies for lunch, hers where sugar and mine were chocolate chip. i ate about five, being the pig that i am. megan came in second half of lunch and marissa left to go to calculus. megan came and like she put me in such a great mood because of her craziness. she proceeded to write all over my hands. she wrote "megan is a va.." then i stopped her because i knew she was about to write vagina. i let her finish and then put a "g" after "megan" so it said "megan g is a vaj j". mission accomplished.
2) i had this amazing madina lake reconnection during yearbook. we always listen to our ipods in that class so i put the madina lake on shuffle so i was jamming out while working on my yearbook spread. that made me feel so much better about my day. i had a huge smile on my face.

surprise, surprise

last night was taryn's surprise sixteenth birthday party. we actually all kept our mouths shut and didn't say a single word about it for the whole two weeks we've known about it. first, everyone met at homegrown to surprise taryn and eat pizza and cake. after we finished leaving, my mom called and she was finally home! me and emily left homegrown early to go see my mom and dad who have been gone on a ten day cruise. i gave them huge hugs and they gave me cute stuff :) they bought me a super cute shirt from Antiqua, a smile mon shirt from bahamas, a seashell necklace <3, a little turtle figurine, and my favorite, hairclips that change colors in the sunlight! my mom showed us all of the great pictures from her cruise and then mom offered to drive us to taryn's to meet everyone for the after party. we went over expecting to play manhunt, but we didn't because some people have over active imaginations. instead, we sat on in a circle telling secrets. WOO WOO. i was NOT having fun. telling secrets isn't really my thing. i keep to myself. so for that whole two hours, i felt totally left out and if i did try to say something i felt totally ignored. i went home climbed in my bed and cried. why does having/keeping friends have to be so difficult?

young wild things one year anniversary!

one year ago today was honestly the best day of my life. two of the most life-changing things happened to me on that day. first, i met fall out boy, they are my life so meeting them was completely amazing. i used to lay in my bed at night, dreaming and picturing the day that i would finally meet them. i never thought that i would actually meet them but it happened, it just proved to me that yes, dreams do come true. everywhere i go, i have the picture of me, hayley, and laura with fall out boy...it's one of my favorite pictures in the whole entire world. the second life-changing thing that happened to me was when i met hayley. i remember standing outside, trying to get myself into hayley and laura's conversation, which eventually worked. once inside in the meet and greet line, hayley started talking to me. we instantly became friends and i remember hayley saying "dude, i wish you lived down the street from me!" i would have NEVER thought, on that day, that a year from now me and hayley would be best friends. hayley has gotten me through A LOT of things in this span of only one year. although, we've only seen each other four times this year...each time we have it's been crazy! we have so much fun when we are together and i'm never bored. i'll never forget when she came to my house and we played tanks literally over a hundred times. i mean, we experienced warped together, met madina lake together, and fall out boy, of course. her friendship mean SO much to me, i don't know what i would do if hayley wasn't my best friend. i seriously hope that we stay best friends for a long, long, long time. it really sucks that we three hours apart though, but still i know she's only a phonecall/text away. love you girl :)

HOT NEW PICS XXX

tonight was so hilarious, i have a stomachache from laughing so hard. marissa and megan came over for a "scarlet letter party", we have parties often....or so i've noticed. last weekend was the "tacos and bracelet making party". anyways, they came over and we checked out harry potter raps on youtube and then attempted to listen to the scarlet letter on tape. they are both ahead of me in the book, so that didn't work out well. we decided to ditch the scarlet letter and party all the time! that's when the time came for....photobooth. WE TOOK OVER 100 PICTURES IN LESS THAN A HALF HOUR ON PHOTOBOOTH. i had to upload majority of time to myspace which lead to crazy bulletins and phone calls to taryn. the bulletin i posted on myspace is as follows. headline: NEW PICS XXX. inside: 72 NEW PICS. GO CHECK OUT MY HOT NEW PICS. hahahahahaha. i can't remember the last time i laughed THAT hard. marissa mentioned that she needed to be replenished so we made quesadillas! we serioulsy, no lie, almost set the house on fire. smoke was everywhere around the kitchen. emily even came down and asked "what's burning?!". we filmed videos on us eating dinner because we are just that cool. then we started facebook statusing and tagging photos and OH! facebook iming. bye girl. oh my god, it was so hilarious. my dog, rosie, needed to go outside so marissa suggested we go frolick in the rain. that lasted a whole minute and a half. but in that short amount of time, i suceeded in thrusting into the statue of a little girl in my backyard. then marissa and megan had to go home :(

i miss this

i wish that i could go back in time, to this exact day last year.
why does everything good have to go away?
things were so much easier last year and now i can't help but just be apathetic about life this year.
i hate this mood i've been in for the past week or two.

halloween and shows!

i really have a lot to say but i'll just sum everything up because my ears are ringing and my eyes are burning.

last night was halloween. me and taryn went to megan's house. once there, we went went trick or treating. it was very epic.
pictures will be on my myspace soon. tonight was SOSOSOSOSOSO great. i haven't have this much fun or been this happy in like a year. me, megan, and marissa went to the holiday parade and my favorite highway show tonight. i really like my favorite highway now, they are so great. and did i mention that the leader singer is BEAUTIFUL, well he is. SEE HE'S BEAUTIFUL. anyways, i really enjoyed their set. then came holiday parade, i pretty much love the song "slam crunk" and the asian guitar player. i was watching him the whole set. i really think he's amazing. after the show, i made megan and me get a picture with him. it will also be on myspace soon!

other than those two epic events, i've been super apathetic. although, i've been forgetting about it because megan and marissa are the fun-est friends i have. so, it's great.
